2019 Conference - What to expect

With the new NSW implementation of the Technology (Mandatory) and Science and Technology syllabuses launching next year the ICT Educators NSW 2019 Conference is a not-to-be missed event on the state’s education calendar.

This year we have once again partnered with exciting venues for Day 1. Join us at Microsoft Headquarters, The Futures Learning Unit of the Department of Education at the Australian Technology Park or the Robots and Dinosaurs Community Makerspace for hands-on workshops and talks to set the tone for the conference.

Then we hope to see everyone come together for a casual networking dinner. Come and meet your fellow teachers, play networking games and compare notes about day 1. Find out what everyone has planned for the year and how they will be tackling the newest challenges.

Saturday will be held at Wenona School, North Sydney and packed with interactive workshops, panels and keynotes covering current digital education research and how to inspire the future technology superheroes. After its positive reception last year we are repeating a dedicated Primary Education workshop stream this year for those teaching k-6. There will be four streams in total so you're sure to find what you need to support you in your learning and in your classroom.
